Letter from PCVA - February 6th

Posted 2/6/26

We wanted to make sure everyone is up to speed on what we’ve been working on lately. Right now, our biggest focus is the bank at 97th & Lemont Road which is currently NuMark Credit Union, and since Gas N Wash needs that specific lot to make their site plan work, we’re watching very closely to see what happens next.

Please note: NuMark Credit Union does NOT own the land on the corner of 97th & Lemont Rd. NuMark Credit Union has no ownership rights to the land, nor do they have control over the sale of the land. Because of this, NuMark does not have the ability to influence or determine any future development decisions.

There is also a very important DuPage County Board vote on February 10th regarding video gaming expansion. This could significantly change our community, so we are encouraging everyone to reach out to board members or sign the petition to keep gambling out of our family-oriented spaces.

On the backend, we’ve been busy interviewing lawyers and engineering firms for a traffic study to make sure we’re legally and technically prepared for the fight ahead.
